Mr. Henry Li is a partner at Merits &Tree. His main practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, distressed asset investments, and employee equity incentive plans. Henry represents a wide range of domestic and international venture capital funds, private equity funds, and strategic investors in their investments in China’s telecommunications, internet, information technology, artificial intelligence, semiconductor, healthcare, consumer goods, and logistics sectors. He also provides legal services to startups in connection with private financing, sales, acquisitions, and joint ventures. In addition, Henry advises leading companies across various industries on the design and implementation of domestic and overseas management and employee shareholding plans, equity incentive schemes, and option trust structures.

With over a decade of legal practice experience, Henry previously worked as an attorney and Of Counsel at JunHe LLP and King & Wood Mallesons before joining Merits &Tree.
